Wanting to leave her dark past behind her, she attends Deerfield Academy, where she meets Annie Lapointe, Bradley Gilbert, Sawyer Weldon, and Griffin Dell. Her new friends give her a sense of normalcy as she secretly copes with the trauma within herself until a very observant Griffin starts to catch on. Will he try to find out more or remain Heartless?
